Privacy policy

Vegas MCP ("we", "the service") provides Las Vegas travel information and trip-planning tools through the Model Context Protocol. This policy describes what we collect when you use our server at https://vegas-mcp.onrender.com.

Information we process

• Trip plans you share — title, dates, itinerary items, optional traveler name, budget tier, and optional share password (stored as a secure hash, not plain text).
• Server logs — standard request metadata (IP, timestamps, paths) from our host (e.g. Render) for operations and security.
• Third-party APIs — when you request weather or events, we call Open-Meteo and optionally Ticketmaster; those providers receive only the parameters needed for the query (e.g. date range), not your full chat history.

What we don't collect

• We do not store your full ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI conversations.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not require an account to use the MCP tools.

Retention

Shared trip plans persist until deleted from our database or file store. You can stop sharing by not distributing the link; contact us to request removal of a specific trip ID.

Cookies

Password-protected trip pages set a short-lived HTTP-only cookie after you unlock a plan so you don't re-enter the password on every view.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above will change. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
